johnny depp did in fact make an appearance at the comic con.
that is correct.
but what they didn't tell you,
and what many people still don't know,
is that on a little side street
that no one really goes by
was a giant wall poster
for alice in wonderland.

there was a line waiting outside this wall
at one time and we decided to come back
as we had parked not too far away.
we came back when there was no line
and when we stood outside the door
girls dressed in black handed us these invitations with skeleton keys
(all different keys and photos on the invitations)
we walked inside and were told that numerous props from the movie were further down the corridors
a set that had been erected to promote the movie in 12 different cities
san diego being the first city in the u.s.
it had toured through europe but only for film studio ceo's and industry professionals.
this was the first time the general public was able to see them.
we saw a door which then opens to the rabbit hole
we actually were able to walk down the rabbit hole

then on to a room with giant alice and a black and white checkered floor
with real props from the movie
the next room was the mad hatter's tea party
the actual table, johnny depp's actual costume
so cool
the next room was the red queen's throne room
then the white queen's room
suits of armor, swords, models
brilliant. the movie is going to be amazing.
i have a little bit of video i might put up later.
it was amazing.
