next week i'm doing audio work on a film set for this young gangster movie.
hours are going to be long,
but man i'm excited.
my piano lessons have been going well,
my piano teacher told me her late husband
when he was young lost his father and
had to be the man of the house supporting his younger brothers.
in the 1930's.
growing up around the theatre he played piano very well.
he played for everyone to make money to feed his family.
he ended up being al capone's favorite piano player.
it all started one night in chicago.
he would walk into dark bars at night as a 12 year old boy looking to play the piano for money.
the piano was empty and he sat down to play
and that was it.
they loved him.
little did he know that a couple minutes beforehand
capone's gang took the previous older piano player outside
and cut his fingers off because they didn't like his playing.
my life's taking off in wild and strange places.
now's when i really need to look at this direction and decide if it's the right one.
hope for the best.
you'll never hit a higher horse if you don't go up to bat.
oh, and there's also this.
